Welcome to Chemainus Lodge No. 114
Having adopted the name of Chemainus Lodge on March 6, 1926, the Masonic Brethren of Chemainus sent a letter, along with a petition to the Grand Lodge of British Columbia (now the Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon) requesting support for the Chemainus effort to form a Lodge. Chemainus Lodge No. 114 Ancient Free & Accepted Masons received it's Charter July 16, 1927.
Chemainus Lodge is in District 27 on Vancouver Island, and meets in St. John's Masonic Temple, in Ladysmith. The Lodge proudly performs the Emulation Ritual, as performed by the United Grand Lodge of England since 1815.

will be held in the former Chemainus Lodge building, now the Willow St. Cafe., at 9749 Willow St., Chemainus. Our social hour will take place at the Sawmill Taphouse and Grill, at 5:30 p.m. Lodge tyles at 7:30 p.m.

MASTER'S GREETINGS

We had a great response to our Annual Slim Pritchard BBQ, held on Saturday, April 27th. Lots of great door prizes, 50/50 draw, and a great meal prepared by chef Michael Close, and catered in part by his employer, Hank's Bakery and Coffee, 5311 Trans Canada Hwy. All who attended thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and delicious food. Our efforts this year, raised close to $900 for our Job's Daughters bursary account.

I look forward to seeing many of our visiting Brethren at our regular communication on May 13, when we will meet in the former Chemainus Lodge building (the Willow St. Cafe).
